CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Chief of Staff, AFP (CSAFP), Gen Andres C Centino PA visited today the headquarters of Southern Luzon Command (SOLCOM) in Lucena City. He was welcomed by SOLCOM Commander LtGen Efren Baluyot PA.
In his talk to the troops, the CSAFP personally conveyed the AFP's thrusts of operational efficiency, optimal use of resources, advancing professionalism and meritocracy, and capability development.
"Our fellow Filipinos deserve better," stressed the CSAFP as he encouraged the troops to prioritize accomplishing the AFP's mission. "We're gaining competence and confidence, and we have all the support of the Filipino people as manifested by the high satisfaction rating that we have gotten from the public. Therefore, we make sure that we are focused on what is expected of us," he added.
The CSAFP thanked SOLCOM troops for their efforts to clear Southern Tagalog and Bicol Region from insurgency and other security threats.
