Philippine-United States (PH-US) Army Salaknib Exercise 2023 (SN23) officially opens

The Philippine-United States (PH-US) Army Salaknib Exercise 2023 (SN23) officially opened today, March 13, with a ceremony in Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija.


The Salaknib exercise is an Army-to-Army annual exercise that started in 2016. It aims to strengthen Filipino and American soldiers' interoperability in various military operations.

The SN23 will be held from March 13 to April 4. It will cover small arms maneuvers, live fire exercises (LFX), jungle training events, artillery and mortar LFX events, and several engineering and construction projects. Three thousand Philippine and US Army personnel will be participating in various events of the exercise.(Photos by 7ID)
