SINGAPORE AND MALAYSIA AIR ASSETS ARRIVE IN CJVAB TO SUPPORT HADR EFFORTS

The Armed Forces of the Philippines through the Philippine Air Force (PAF) received a significant boost in its ongoing Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) operations with the arrival of foreign air assets on October 26, 2024.

A C-130 cargo aircraft from the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) and a Eurocopter EC725 transport helicopter from the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) landed at Col Jesus Villamor Air Base in Pasay City. These aircraft will be instrumental in supporting relief efforts in areas affected by Severe Tropical Storm Kristine.

The collaboration underscores the strong defense relationship between the Philippines, Singapore, and Malaysia, highlighting a collective commitment to disaster resilience and showcasing our readiness to work alongside allies in times of need.
