CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—The Vice Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, LtGen Arthur M Cordura received the World Eskrima Kali Arnis Federation (WEKAF) and Paris Olympics soldier-athletes in a courtesy visit on September 4, 2024, here.
During the meeting, LtGen Cordura extended his congratulations and encouragement to the athletes, recognizing their dedication and the global pride they bring to the Philippines. The visit underscored the dual role these athletes play as both defenders of the nation and promoters of sports excellence.
The AFP remains committed in supporting its soldier-athletes in showcasing their talents on the global stage, as well as exemplifying the spirit of perseverance and discipline that the armed forces uphold.
