Soldiers told to stay united, strong in CSAFP visit to Mindanao

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—General Romeo Brawner Jr, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines again told soldiers to stay united and strong for the country when he visited military units in Mindanao.

Following his visit to the 1st Infantry Division in Zamboanga Del Sur on February 20, he proceeded to the 103rd Infantry Brigade in Marawi City and the 4th Infantry Division in Cagayan De Oro on February 21.

They are part of his on-going efforts to assess the implementation of military campaigns as laid out in the AFP Command Conference last January, as well as emphasize professionalism and loyalty to the chain of command.

“Gusto kong i-remind tayong lahat na bilang mga sundalo, we should always be united and professional. Dapat ang members ng AFP ay iisa lang at hindi watak-watak. Let us focus on our jobs, kahit marami tayong naririnig na away sa politika, huwag tayong makisali doon,” General Brawner Jr said, reiterating that a strong and united AFP results in a strong and united Philippines.
