CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City — The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the International Graduate School of Leadership (IGSL) formalized the expansion of their long-standing educational partnership through the ceremonial signing of an Addendum to the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) held on June 3, here.
The signing ceremony was presided over by Lieutenant General Rommel P Roldan, Acting AFP Chief of Staff, and Dr. Great B. Mabuti, President of IGSL. The addendum strengthens the existing 2010 MOA for the Master of Arts in Transformational Leadership program, aimed at developing values-driven and effective leaders within the organization.
Under the expanded agreement, eligibility for the scholarship program will now extend beyond commissioned officers to include qualified Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) and Non-Uniformed Personnel (NUPs). The program provides a comprehensive package covering tuition, textbooks, on-campus accommodation, and a monthly stipend, and extends assistance to immediate family members, allowing eligible spouses to pursue a master’s degree or on-campus studies.
The initiative underscores the AFP’s commitment to professional development and leadership excellence across all ranks, fostering a more capable, empowered, and future-ready force in support of its mission of service to the Filipino people.
