CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City -- The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) signaled the start of the AFP Joint Exercise “Dagit, Langit at Lupa” (AJEX “DAGITPA”) activities at the Laoag Sand Dunes, Barangay Navotas, Laoag City on November 4, 2025. The exercise brings together the Philippine Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force, with the participation of the Philippine Coast Guard and the Philippine National Police, to enhance interoperability and joint operational readiness.
The annual AJEX “DAGITPA” serves as a key component in the AFP’s implementation of the Comprehensive Archipelagic Defense Concept (CADC), aimed at strengthening joint defense capabilities across land, air, and maritime domains. Training activities will include airfield seizure, counter-landing live fire, amphibious operations, and land defense exercises in Northern Luzon—demonstrating the AFP’s commitment to securing the nation’s territorial integrity through unified and coordinated operations.
