The Chief of Staff, AFP (CSAFP) General Andres C Centino PA, visits on April 19 a Forward Operating Base of Bravo Company, 15IB, 3ID situated in Brgy Haba, Candoni, Negros Occidental. The visit to far-flung military camps and detachments is one of the CSAFP's thrusts to check on the troops' morale and welfare and personally relay his guidance.
In his talk to troops, the CSAFP extended his appreciation to the men and women of the said unit for their successful implementation of the government's counter-insurgency campaign and their support to the local government units in maintaining peace and security in the province.
According to the CSAFP, the AFP is close to attaining a complete victory against the Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) because of the troops' efforts and contributions to the whole-of-nation approach to end the communist armed conflict in the country.
The CSAFP also reminded the troops to maintain a high standard of discipline, avoid getting involved in illegal activities, and not waste the trust and confidence of the people. (Photo by TSg Obinque/PAO, AFP)
