CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City— The Commission on Appointments confirmed the ad interim appointments and nominations of 15 senior military officers on December 4, in Pasay City, underscoring the professional development within the leadership of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
The batch of newly promoted officers is led by LtGen Ferdinand Barandon PA, the AFP Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence, J2. Together with him were MGen Adonis Ariel Orio PA; RAdm Alan Javier PN; BGen Joseph Archog PA; BGen Huert Acierto PA; BGen Rosendo Abad Jr PA; BGen Michael Logico PA; BGen Jose Ambrosio Rustia PA; BGen Ronald Jess Alcudia PA; BGen Bob Apostol PN(M); and BGen Raul Tangco (Res).
The CA likewise confirmed the nominations to the next higher ranks of RAdm Jose Ma. Ambrosio Ezpeleta PN; BGen Joseph Norwin Pasamonte PA; Commo Florante Gagua PN; and Commo Juario Marayag PN.
The confirmation of the ad interim appointments and nominations of these officers is a reflection of their exceptional service and commitment to the AFP's mission which reflects the military’s operational effectiveness and strengthening national defense.
