With no vital signs after drowning, a 7-year-old child was revived by two valiant Marines of the MBLT-4, embodying the Marine Corps’ commitment to service and readiness in all situations.
On 06 April 2025, in Sitio Tandu-Owak, Barangay Ligayan, Sibutu, Tawi-Tawi, a 7-year-old boy was pulled unresponsive from the water after a drowning incident. Responding without hesitation, two Corpsmen from the Marine Battalion Landing Team-4 (MBLT-4)—Corporal Jerome Roa PN(M) and Private All-J-Jhon Cubin PN(M)—immediately performed life-saving measures.
