AFP, Bayo Manila Foundation, Inc. empowers sustainable welfare with Weave for Peace Project

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City — The Armed Forces of the Philippines and Bayo Manila Foundation Inc., launched the Weave for Peace Project on February 6, in Makati City. The event was attended by AFP Chief of Staff, General Romeo S Brawner Jr., as the Guest of Honor and speaker, together with Ms. Anna Lagon, President of Bayo Manila Foundation, Inc.
 
The “Weave for Peace” initiative is a collaborative effort that seeks to enhance the economic well-being of families and retirees who have served and supported the AFP. The program aims to equip participants with the necessary skills and resources to engage in handicraft production, fostering financial independence while promoting peace and unity within the community.
 
The collaboration reflects the AFP’s commitment to improving the welfare of its personnel and their families, ensuring they have access to dignified, sustainable livelihoods post-service.
