CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City -- The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) celebrated the 75th Founding Anniversary of the First Scout Ranger Regiment (FSRR) of the Special Operations Command on November 27 at Camp Tecson, San Miguel, Bulacan, celebrating seven decades and a half of elite service under the theme “Scout Rangers’ Diamond Years of Service: Evolving, Leading, Enduring.”
AFP Chief of Staff General Romeo S Brawner Jr. led the commemoration, joined by Department of National Defense (DND) Undersecretary for Defense Affairs Angelito M. De Leon, and BGen Isagani O Criste PA, Regiment Commander of FSRR who is also known as the "Father of Scout Snipers". Also present were senior military leaders, local officials, partner stakeholders, and the men and women of the FSRR.
The anniversary program featured the presentation of awards to distinguished units, officers and enlisted personnel, recognizing exceptional performance and contributions to mission success.
As the FSRR celebrates its diamond anniversary, the AFP reaffirmed its commitment to developing highly trained, well-equipped, and mission-ready forces capable of responding to evolving security challenges.
