CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City - The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff General Andres C Centino PA uplifted the morale of BRP Tausug (LC-295) personnel as he boarded the naval ship on Saturday, April 30, 2022.
The AFP Chief of Staff was received aboard by CDR ALLAN ROY D CANILANG PN, Commanding Officer, BRP Tausug (LC-295) in Magallanes Port, Limasawa, Southern Leyte.
“Thank you for doing a good job. We should maintain our hard work and dedication especially because the AFP is the number one government agency with the highest trust rating as per a survey,” said General Centino.
General Centino likewise thanked the sailors for transporting the donations from various organizations to victims of Super Typhoon Odette in an event dubbed as “Vessel of Hope”.
The BRP Tausug (LC-295) is one of the Philippine Navy’s Landing Craft and was named after one of the largest ethnic groups in the southwestern Philippines.
