CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – General Romeo S Brawner Jr. PA, The Chief of Staff, Armed Forces of the Philippines (CSAFP) expressed his confidence in the AFP’s Sergeants Major during the Closing Ceremony of the Senior Enlisted Leaders Year-End Consultative Meeting 2023 on October 20.
Also celebrating the 27th Non-Commissioned Officers Week and the 54th Founding Anniversary of the Office of the AFP Sergeant Major, the CSAFP also shared his objective of elevating the level of confidence and competence of Senior Enlisted Personnel.
“Malaki ang tiwala ko, malaki ang respeto ko sa mga Sergeants Major ng Armed Forces of the Philippines dahil kayo ang partners naming mga opisyal sa pag-lead, command, at manage ng different units natin,” Gen. Brawner said.
With the theme: "Senior Enlisted Leaders as Catalysts of Change: Leading Transformation for a Stronger Future,” the senior enlisted leaders were commended by the CSAFP for their hard work and efforts over the years.
“The Sergeant Major is not behind the commander, but beside him. Your General Headquarters leadership, our J-Staff, and the Major Services Commanders are all one in supporting the advocacy in making sure that Enlisted Leaders are fully supported,” the CSAFP added.
The Senior Enlisted Leaders Year-End Consultative Meeting 2023 is a 4-day activity that served as a platform for 120 Sergeants Major to convene and engage in discussions for the morale, welfare, and discipline of Enlisted Personnel of the Armed Forces of the Philippines across the country.///
