CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff General Romeo S. Brawner Jr. underscored the vital role of the Customs Police Rapid Intervention Group in combating smuggling, illegal trafficking, and transnational crimes during the Special Operations Training Graduation Ceremony held at the Bureau of Customs grounds in Port Area, Manila on May 11, 2026.
A total of 29 trainees composed of one officer and 28 non-commissioned officers completed the rigorous training program aimed at enhancing operational capability, discipline, leadership, and readiness against evolving security threats.

Your work may not always be visible to the public, but it is vital,” General Brawner said, as he also reminded the graduates to uphold integrity, discipline, and professionalism in the performance of their duties.
During the ceremony, Bureau of Customs Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno presented a plaque of appreciation to General Brawner, while Police Brigadier General Nolasco K.
