CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City — The First Scout Ranger Regiment, Philippine Army celebrated its 73rd Anniversary with the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Commander-in-Chief, President Ferdinand R Marcos Jr on November 25 at Camp Tecson, San Miguel, Bulacan.
Also present during the event was Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr; The Chief of Staff, Armed Forces of the Philippines, General Romeo S Brawner Jr. PA; Philippine Army Commanding General, LtGen Roy Galido; and the Regiment Commander, BGen Isagani Criste.
In his remarks, the AFP Commander-in-Chief emphasized the importance of the FSRR's role in enhancing the country's credible defense posture.
"This event is not just a celebration of history but a recognition of this unit's pivotal role in confronting internal security threats and safeguarding our nation. Over the years, the First Scout Ranger Regiment has stood as a stalwart defendant, showcasing unparalleled loyalty, soldiery and professionalism," said President Marcos Jr.
