CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Armed Forces of the Philippines Corps of Engineers (AFPCOE) celebrated its 86th Founding Anniversary with the Chief of Staff, AFP (CSAFP), Gen. Andres C Centino PA, as the Guest of Honor on April 12 at the AFP Headquarters.
The Chief Engineer, AFP, MGen Proceso S Rebancos PA, led the Office of the Chief Engineer (OTCE) in welcoming the CSAFP during their anniversary celebration.
Anchored to the theme, "Expanding the Role of Military Engineers towards a Peaceful, Stronger, Resilient, and More Developed Nation," MGen Rebancos proudly presented to CSAFP the OTCE's significant accomplishments as the AFP's primary policy-making body for engineering matters.
"The AFPCOE's Founding Anniversary is an excellent opportunity for us to reflect on the fundamental purpose of our existence. Likewise, it is also a good opportunity for us to reaffirm our commitment to serving our country and people," said the TCE. He also emphasized the corps' thrusts and initiatives in policy formulation to cope with modern innovations in the engineering environment.
With the presentation of their achievements, the CSAFP commended the OTCE officers, enlisted personnel (EP), and civilian human resources (Civ HRs) for their commitment to support the AFP's modernization projects and recognized their outstanding work by awarding the Best Performing Engineering Battalions, EP, Civ HR, and OTCE Stakeholders.
"I encourage you to stay focused on your goals and stay true to our shared vision and core values.
