CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) celebrated the exceptional achievements of AFP units and offices in a recognition ceremony held today, here. The event was presided over by the AFP Vice Chief of Staff LtGen Arthur M Cordura on behalf of the AFP Chief of Staff General Romeo S Brawner Jr., who underscored the commitment of the AFP as an institution of excellence.
As part of the AFP Transformation Roadmap Institutionalization Pathway (AFPTRIP), eight offices and units were recognized, highlighting their dedication to continuous operational advancement.
The Compliant Status Award was presented to the GHQ Provident Fund Office and the GHQ Supply Accountable Office, recognizing their adherence to established standards.
The Institutionalized Status Award was accorded to the AFP Public Affairs Office and the Office of the Secretary Joint Staff for their exemplary operations.
Additionally, the Recertified Status Award was presented to the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence, J2; the Office of the Communication, Electronics and Information Systems Service, AFP (CEISSAFP); the Office of The Provost Marshal General; and the AFP International Military Affairs Center.
In his message, LtGen Cordura commended the honorees for their immense service, quoting AFP Chief of Staff General Brawner: “I congratulate the AFPTRIP Awardees who led the concept of the AFP transformation. This recognition reflects our relentless pursuit of excellence, enabling us to be more resilient, and more capable of meeting the challenges ahead.”
