CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City — A year since its creation, the Armed Forces of the Philippines Gender and Development Office (AFPGADO) celebrates its 1st Founding Anniversary on November 8 at the General Headquarters.
As part of the celebration, lecturers from the Women and Children Protection Center (WCPC) of the Philippine National Police (PNP) were invited to share best practices and raise awareness during the conduct of a Seminar on Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) and PNP Best Practices on Treatment of SGBV Victims.
"This is just a prelude of our intent na maturuan tayo talaga on how to treat well our SGBV Victims and how to properly conduct the investigations. The AFPGADO is still young, and we are very grateful to the AFP leadership for their support,” said AFPGADO Chief, Col. Arlene Fragé PA as she expressed her gratitude to fellow GADvocates for their support since AFPGADO's activation.///
