CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City -- The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) held a Change of Chief of Office and Retirement Ceremony in honor of Brigadier General Denie Mar A Clemencia PA, outgoing Chief of the AFP Finance Center (AFPFC), on 03 June 2025 at Tejeros Hall, AFP Commissioned Officers Country, here.
Presided over by Lieutenant General Jimmy D Larida PN(M), Vice Chief of Staff, AFP, the event highlighted BGen Clemencia’s exceptional contributions to the AFP.
A distinguished member of the PMA “Sambisig” Class of 1991, BGen Clemencia’s military journey included key positions such as Assistant Chief of the AFP Resource Management Office and Commanding Officer of the 5th Mechanized Infantry Battalion. His combination of field command and financial management experience uniquely positioned him to lead transformative improvements within the AFPFC.
Taking the helm as Acting Chief is Captain Ryan L Bakabak PN(GSC), who brings continuity and deep knowledge from his role as Deputy Chief of the AFPFC.
The AFPFC’s Change of Chief of Office and Retirement Ceremony reflects the AFP’s enduring commitment to good governance, professionalism, and service excellence across all levels of command.
