AFP Leadership Strengthened as Commission on Appointments Confirms 39 Generals and Senior Officers

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City -- The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) reinforced its leadership core as the Commission on Appointments confirmed the ad interim promotions of 39 generals, flag officers, and senior military officers on October 1 in Pasay City.
This highlights the AFP’s commitment to cultivating principled leaders capable of steering the organization through complex security challenges and advancing its transformation initiatives.

Leading the roster is LtGen Rey B Alemania, Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, J4, whose confirmation, alongside his fellow officers, reflects the continuity of vision and leadership critical to sustaining the AFP’s operational readiness.

These promotions not only strengthen the AFP’s command structure but also secure the next generation of leaders dedicated to protecting national sovereignty and upholding the trust of the Filipino people.
