The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) recognized its partner stakeholders for their outstanding contributions to the military’s peace and development efforts on Monday, March 14.
AFP Chief of Staff General Andres C Centino led the awarding ceremony at the AFP Commissioned Officers Club in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City, during the 71st Founding Anniversary of the Civil Relations Service AFP (CRSAFP).
Also present were Major General Manuel V Sequitin, Commander of CRSAFP, Military Officers, Enlisted Personnel, and Civilian Human Resources.
Gen. Centino presented the CRSAFP Stakeholders Award to Hon. Divina Grace C Yu, Deputy Speaker and District 1 Representative of Zamboanga del Sur; Dr Isabel Cojuangco Suntay, co-founder of Tarlac Heritage Foundation; Ms Rikki Escudero-Catibog, GMA Kapuso Foundation Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer; Jose Felicisimo Rosete, External Relations Senior Manager for Smart Communications; and Engineer Noli R Saballa, Vice President for Support Groups & PCO-MH at BMPI Inc.
The same recognition was presented to partner non-government organizations - Operation Blessing, Yield Guild Games (YGG), and SM Foundation Inc. for their continued partnership with the CRSAFP in civic action activities that benefit the people.
Anchored on the theme “Strengthening Partnerships in Advancing Peace and Ending Armed Conflict,” the celebration sought to recognize partner stakeholders who helped accomplish the CRSAFP’s mission.
In his message, General Centino thanked the awardees for their selfish dedication and tireless support to the AFP.
