AFP Resumes Weekly Zumba Sessions to Promote Personnel Well-being

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) has officially resumed its weekly Zumba sessions every Thursday starting 29 May 2025 at the Lapu-Lapu Grandstand. This initiative is in line with the Civil Service Commission’s directive to adopt a continued physical fitness program, which underscores the importance of promoting the health and overall well-being of government employees.

Spearheaded by the Civilian Personnel Affairs Division (CPAD), Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel, J1, in collaboration with the Office of the Chief Special Service, the activity aims to encourage an active lifestyle among civilian and military personnel.

The AFP's commitment to this program underscores its dedication to promoting the holistic well-being of its civilian and military employees, recognizing that a healthy workforce is essential for optimal performance and morale.
