AFP Showcases Leadership in Faith-Based Military Cooperation at AMI 60th Assembly

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City -- The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) hosted the 60th Annual Conference and General Assembly of the Apostolat Militaire International (AMI) on September 22 at St. Ignatius Cathedral, here. The event was graced by the Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines, Most Reverend Charles John Brown D.D.
The gathering brought together military and civilian personnel, lay leaders, and other members of the Catholic community in reaffirming their shared commitment to strengthening Christian values within the Armed Forces and promoting peace, unity, and service to humanity.

By hosting the international assembly, the AFP reaffirmed its role as a vital partner in both national and global peacebuilding efforts, emphasizing its holistic approach of combining strength, service, and spirituality in nation-building.
