The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Kingdom of Sweden reaffirmed their shared commitment to deepening defense cooperation as AFP Chief of Staff General Romeo S Brawner Jr welcomed Her Excellency Anna Ferry, Ambassador of Sweden to the Philippines in a courtesy visit on May 6, here.
The visit highlighted the growing defense relationship between the Philippines and Sweden, particularly in the areas of capability development and strategic dialogue. Both leaders discussed opportunities for expanding bilateral engagements and enhancing interoperability to address evolving regional and global security challenges.
