CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City -- The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Vice Chief of Staff, LtGen Jimmy D Larida welcomed Rear Admiral Natsui Takashi, Commander of Escort Flotilla 4 of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, during a courtesy visit on June 23, here.
During the meeting, LtGen Larida expressed appreciation for Japan’s continued support and commitment to mutual defense initiatives, emphasizing the importance of strengthened ties amid evolving regional security dynamics. Likewise, Rear Admiral Takashi reiterated JMSDF’s readiness to work closely with the AFP in fostering regional maritime safety and cooperation.
