CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City -- The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Medical Service marked its 127th Founding Anniversary with a commemorative event held on 25 June 2025 at Tejeros Hall, AFP Commissioned Officers’ Country, here.
Gracing the occasion as Guest of Honor and Speaker was General Romeo S Brawner Jr, Chief of Staff, AFP (CSAFP). He was formally welcomed and joined at the event by The Surgeon General, AFP, Brigadier General Fatima Claire S Navarro, MC.
In his keynote address, General Brawner lauded the AFP Medical Service for its enduring contributions to both the military and civilian sectors, especially in times of national emergencies and health crises.
One of the highlights of the program was the awarding of exemplary Healthcare Providers and Stakeholders, recognizing their invaluable service, commitment to excellence, and collaborative efforts in strengthening the AFP’s healthcare system.
The event underscored the unit’s mission of delivering timely, compassionate, and world-class medical care to the nation’s defenders.///
