CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City -- The Armed Forces of the Philippines Pension and Gratuity Management Center (AFPPMC) inaugurated its newly renovated Heroes Lounge and launched a dedicated mobile application for AFP pensioners in a ceremony held today, here. The event was led by AFP Deputy Chief of Staff LtGen Rommel P Roldan.
The newly renovated Heroes Lounge offers a more accessible and comfortable space for pensioners visiting AFPPMC. Meanwhile, the mobile app introduces a faster, more secure way for retirees to manage their pension information, update records, and receive timely notifications.
In his remarks, LtGen Roldan addressed the veterans in attendance, “To our pensioners, let me speak from the heart: you may no longer wear the uniform, but in the eyes of every soldier standing guard today, kayo po ang rason kung bakit kami’y patuloy na lumalaban—lagi’t lagi para sa bayan.”
The AFPPMC emphasized that both initiatives reflect the AFP’s long-standing commitment to honoring the sacrifices of its pensioners by ensuring accessible, transparent, and reliable public service.
