CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City -- Leadership continuity within the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) received a significant boost as the Commission on Appointments confirmed the ad interim promotions of 27 generals and flag officers on December 10 in Pasay City, strengthening command stability across all major branches of service.
The confirmation was led by Lieutenant General Aristotle D Gonzales, Commander of the Northern Luzon Command, underscoring the AFP’s sustained effort to maintain a robust leadership framework essential to operational effectiveness and the uninterrupted execution of national defense missions. The list of confirmed officers span ranks across from 3 Lieutenant Generals, 6 Major Generals, 1 Rear Admiral, and 17 Brigadier Generals.
