CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City -- The Commission on Appointments (CA) confirmed the ad interim appointments of Lieutenant General Cerilo C Balaoro Jr, Commander of the Southern Luzon Command (SOLCOM), along with 19 other Flag and Senior Officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) on September 3.
Of the 20 confirmed officers, the Philippine Army (PA) accounts for 13, while the Philippine Air Force (PAF) has 4, and the Philippine Navy (PN/PN[M]) is represented by 3. By rank, the list is composed of 1 Lieutenant General, 6 Major Generals, 9 Brigadier Generals, 3 Colonels, 1 Commodore, and 1 Navy Captain (Reserve).
