The Office for Strategic Studies and Strategy Management (OSSSM) welcomes its new chief on Monday, November 14, in a joint Change of Chief of Office and Retirement Ceremony presided by The Deputy Chief of Staff, AFP VAdm Rommel Anthony SD Reyes at the General Headquarters, AFP.
BGen Edgardo C Palma relinquished his post as Chief, OSSSM to Col Haroun-al Rashid I Jaji after reaching the mandatory retirement age of 56 and over 35 years of outstanding military service.
BGen Palma is a member of the Philippine Military Academy "Sambisig" Class of 1991. He holds a master's degree in Public Management Major in Development and Security and has been assigned to key positions including Division Inspector General of the 11th Infantry Division.
Col Jaji, also a Sambisig member, was BGen Palma's assistant in the OSSSM. He was the head of the Governance Strategy and Management Office of the 4th Infantry Division.
He completed his master’s degree in Public Administration, specializing in International and National Security Policy at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University, New York City. (Photos by Sgt Ambay/PAO, AFP)
