CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—General Romeo Brawner Jr, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines visited and extended his condolences to the families of the six soldiers who were killed in action in Munai, Lanao Del Sur last February 18.
The CSAFP arrived at the headquarters of the 1st Infantry Division in Zamboanga Del Sur on February 20 where a vigil for the soldiers was being held. There he assured the families of the AFP’s full support and assistance.
“This is a very sad event. We lost some of our soldiers. Wala pong kapalit ang buhay ng tao that’s why nandito po kami upang personal na ipaabot ang aming pakikiramay at ang aming buong suporta sa mga pamilya ng mga sundalo na namatay.,” General Brawner Jr said.
“We have extended not just financial support to them, but we will also help their children or their siblings to enter the military service. We will extend all the help that we can extend to them,” the CSAFP added.
