CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City — General Romeo S Brawner Jr., Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines joined the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) General Membership Meeting discussing on the topics of national security and regional geopolitics on February 12, 2025, at the Shangri-la The Fort, Taguig City.
In his address, General Brawner outlined the AFP's ongoing efforts to strengthen the country’s defense posture. He highlighted the AFP's role in Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR), the importance of enhancing military readiness to address external security challenges, and the significance of collaborative defense initiatives with partner forces through joint trainings and exercises.
The meeting underscores the AFP’s effort to raising public awareness in critical national issues, with the goal of fostering deeper collaboration between the military and civilian sectors to address shared challenges.
