CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, General Romeo Brawner Jr, recognized soldiers for their heroism, service, and contributions to the peace and security situation in Basilan, Sulu, and nearby provinces on February 4.
The awarding ceremony was part of his visit to the 101st Infantry Brigade to personally assess the progress of campaigns and ensure the welfare of personnel in the area.
“I am very happy with the progress in our campaigns and the accomplishments that you are achieving in the area. So just keep doing a great job and stay focused on our mission,” General Brawner Jr said to the troops of the 101st Brigade.
