As we conclude the 2025 National and Local Elections, I extend my deepest personal gratitude to all the men and women of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) who have stood at the frontlines of democracy, not with weapons drawn, but with steadfast discipline, integrity, and service.
In every corner of the country, whether securing polling precincts, transporting election materials across difficult terrain, or protecting voters in vulnerable areas, you have demonstrated the highest ideals of the AFP. Once again, you have proven that the AFP is not just a force of might, but an unwavering, non-partisan pillar of peace, unity, and democracy.
To the Filipino people, 𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘵 𝘱𝘰 𝘴𝘢 𝘪𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘬𝘪𝘪𝘴𝘢 𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘪𝘸𝘢𝘭𝘢. We honor your courage, vigilance, and cooperation, each one vital to the success of our democratic process and to our mission as your protectors. You are the lifeblood of our democracy. It is your trust that fuels our resolve to serve with greater dedication and strength.
Let me assure everyone that the AFP’s role in safeguarding our democratic institutions does not end today. We remain fully committed to supporting the Commission on Elections, the Philippine National Police, and other agencies as we move forward, keeping the peace, respecting the will of the people, and upholding the rule of law.
In moments of peace or in times of uncertainty, we will be there. Your AFP will always be there. Not for power or for politics, but for the nation, our kababayans, and the future generations we are sworn to protect. Together, let us continue to build a stronger, more secure, and democratic Philippines.
