General Romeo S Brawner Jr, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) welcomed Colonel Daniel J Oh, the new Chief of the Joint U.S. Military Assistance Group (JUSMAG) Philippines, in an introductory call on May 14, here.
During the meeting, General Brawner expressed his appreciation for the longstanding support provided by JUSMAG in terms of capacity-building, training, and logistical assistance. Both leaders also reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening alliance in pursuit of regional peace and stability.
The visit underscored both nations’ continued dedication to a strong and resilient partnership in the face of evolving security challenges.
