In a continued demonstration of humanitarian cooperation under Exercise Balikatan 40-2025, personnel from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the United States Armed Forces conducted a Community Health Engagement (CHE) on May 4 in Barangay Dugui San Isidro, Virac, Catanduanes.
The activity featured lectures and hands-on training on Basic Life Support (BLS), first aid, heatstroke prevention, mosquito-borne diseases, nutrition, and oral hygiene for children, aimed at boosting community health awareness and emergency preparedness.
This outreach initiative reflected the shared commitment of the Philippine and U.S. forces to support local communities through health education and preventive care.
