CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—Brigadier General Guillaume Thomas of the French Air Force made a courtesy visit to the AFP General Headquarters here on July 29, where he was welcomed and met by Lieutenant General Charlton Sean Gaerlan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
Brigadier General Thomas, the commander of PEGASE 24, is currently leading the annual mission in the Philippines. PEGASE 24 aims to showcase France's combat power and build relations with host nations.
During the visit, both leaders discussed mutual defense interests and opportunities for enhancing military cooperation between France and the Philippines.
