AFP Acting Vice Chief of Staff LtGen William Gonzales and Atty Kristine Rosary Yuzon-Chavez, Executive Director of the Philippine Commission on Women, renewed a partnership agreement centered on mainstreaming gender and development matters in the military on Monday, November 7, at the AFP General Headquarters in Quezon City.
Under the agreement, which was first inked in September 2021, the AFP and PCW will work on the development of the AFP's GAD Agenda, Analysis and Analysis Tools Training. PCW will also provide technical inputs on GAD-related policies and supervise the updating of GAD Mainstreaming Evaluation Framework Scores, among other initiatives under the Magna Carta for Women.
