HEROES Program Reinforces AFP’s Commitment to Lifelong Service

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City - The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), through the AFP Pension and Gratuity Management Center (AFPPGMC), officially launched the Helping Every Retiree Obtain Enhanced Services (HEROES) Program today, here. The ceremony was presided over by LtGen Rommel P Roldan, AFP Deputy Chief of Staff.

The HEROES Program is designed to strengthen the AFP’s commitment to its retired personnel by enhancing Responsive Communication and Support Services and promoting Partnership Engagements that ensure continued welfare and dignity for its veterans.

LtGen Roldan highlighted the AFP’s enduring responsibility to those who once wore the uniform, “The HEROES Program is more than a service initiative. It is a solemn promise that even after retirement, our heroes remain at the heart of the institution. We will continue to support them with dignity, compassion, and unwavering respect.”

The launch underscores the AFP’s belief that service to the nation does not end with retirement, and that gratitude for our veterans must transcend time. Through HEROES, the AFP affirms that its commitment to the well-being of its retirees remains strong, ensuring that they continue to receive the support and care they deserve.
