CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (CSAFP), General Romeo S. Brawner Jr., visited the 2nd Special Forces “Sabertooth” Battalion, Special Forces Regiment (Airborne), at Camp General Servillano Aquino on May 15.
During the visit, General Brawner conferred awards to the outstanding personnel in recognition of their exemplary service, professionalism, and steadfast dedication to duty. He was joined by Brigadier General Eros James M Uri, Regiment Commander, alongside Lieutenant Colonel Jerry B Jaucian, Commanding Officer of 2nd Special Forces Battalion.
In his remarks, General Brawner underscored the demands and sacrifices of military service, saying: “Hindi madali ang trabaho ng ating mga sundalo. It is a difficult and demanding profession, and we are willing to offer our lives for our country and our people.” He added further encouragement to the troops, urging them to take pride in their service, remain steadfast in their duty, and stay loyal to the Constitution and to the flag.
