New breed of AFP leaders march forward from OCC Class 62-2025

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) today, June 6, celebrated a pivotal moment in its commitment to building future leaders, marking the graduation ceremony of the Philippine Army's Officer Candidate Course (OCC) Class 62-2025.
Held at the Makabulos Grandstand, Training Command PA, Camp O’Donnell in Capas, Tarlac, the event saw 307 newly commissioned second lieutenants officially join the ranks, ready to serve the Army forward.

Senior Undersecretary Irineo C. Espino of the Department of National Defense (DND) graced the ceremony as the Guest of Honor and Speaker. He was joined by key AFP officials, including Vice Chief of Staff, AFP LtGen Jimmy D Larida PN(M), Commanding General, Philippine Army LtGen Roy M Galido PA, and Commander, Training Command, Philippine Army (TRACOM PA) MGen Danilo D Benavides PA.

The Officer Candidate Course (OCC) is a rigorous and comprehensive leadership training program designed to transform highly capable civilians and enlisted personnel into disciplined, competent, and ethical military officers. This event marks not only the end of their training journey but also the beginning of a lifetime of service to the AFP and the Filipino people.///
