CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City--President Ferdinand Marcos Jr along with top defense and military officials visited soldiers receiving treatment at the Army General Hospital in Fort Bonifacio on February 12.
He also met and awarded the personnel who were wounded in the successful military operation against members of the Dawlah Islamiyah-Maute Group last January that resulted in the death of top wanted personalities in the Mindanao State University bombing last December.
The president was accompanied by Secretary of National Defense Gilberto Teodoro Jr, Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief of Staff Gen. Romeo Brawner Jr, and Army Commanding General LtGen Roy Galido.
The visit delivers on President Marcos Jr's promise to ensure the welfare of Filipino soldiers.
"Be assured that the government’s dedication to your advancement and welfare goes beyond providing modern equipment alone,” the President said earlier.
