Rear Admiral Menon Visits AFP Headquarters, Underscores Shared Indo-Pacific Goals

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) welcomed Rear Admiral Susheel Menon, VSM, Flag Officer Commanding Eastern Fleet of the Indian Navy, during a courtesy visit held today, here.

Lt. General Jimmy D Larida, AFP Vice Chief of Staff, received Rear Admiral Menon on behalf of AFP Chief of Staff General Romeo S Brawner Jr., reinforcing the strong and growing defense ties between the Philippines and India.
 
The visit comes on the heels of recent developments in bilateral maritime cooperation and reflects the mutual commitment of both nations to maintaining peace, stability, and a rules-based order in the Indo-Pacific region.
 
The courtesy call is part of the broader framework of strategic dialogue and interoperability initiatives between the two countries, as both navies continue to pursue opportunities for joint exercises and multilateral cooperation.
