CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—General Romeo Brawner Jr, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, told soldiers of the 10th Infantry Division and the Eastern Mindanao Command on February 3 to stay united and be wary of enemy efforts to infiltrate various sectors of society and challenge the AFP and the nation’s unity.
In his message to the troops in Mawab, Davao De Oro and Panacan, Davao City, he said that he is confident in the loyalty and professionalism of every member of the AFP amid recent political developments.
“I am not worried because I know that the new breed of soldiers are professionals. Let us remain united and loyal to the Constitution and the chain of command,” said General Brawner Jr who visited the units to assess the status of HADR operations and peace and security campaigns in the area.
“Focus lang tayo sa trabaho natin. Isa lang ang ating Pilipinas, isa lang ang ating bansa. Let us be proud of our heritage, let’s be proud of who we are as a people. Pilipino tayong lahat kaya mahalin natin ang ating bansa,” he added.
