Vice Admiral Rommel Anthony SD Reyes, The Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, met with Gen David H. Berger, Commandant of the US Marine Corps, during the latter’s courtesy call on 05 September 2022.
Both sides expressed the significance of nurturing the long-standing alliance and relationship between the Philippines and the United States to anticipate and address ongoing challenges in maritime defense security in the region and strengthen military interoperability between both countries.
They also extended their appreciation and gratitude for the continuous partnership and support on maritime exercises and training activities such as BALIKATAN and KAMANDAG exercises as part of PH-US bilateral activities.///
