CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City — In a shared commitment to nation-building and inclusive development, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and GMA Kapuso Foundation Inc. signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) today, July 10, here.
The MOA highlights a strategic collaboration between the military and the media foundation to implement joint humanitarian and communication projects in Geographically Isolated and Depressed Areas (GIDAs) and other priority regions nationwide.
AFP Chief of Staff General Romeo S Brawner Jr. and GMA Kapuso Foundation Inc. Assistant Vice President of Litigation and Special Projects Legal Affairs Department, Mr. Jose Vener C. Ibarra, led the signing ceremony. The partnership is expected to strengthen the delivery of vital information, basic services, and support to underserved communities, further aligning with the AFP’s mission of serving the people and securing the nation.
This landmark agreement builds on both institutions’ longstanding dedication to service and reaffirms their commitment to creating lasting positive impact in the lives of Filipinos across the country.
