CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City –LtGen Charlton Sean Gaerlan, The Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (TDCSAFP), honored the AFP Reserve Command (AFPRESCOM) for its 31st founding anniversary marking three decades of dedicated service here on April 30, 2024.
AFPRESCOM plays a pivotal role in supporting the AFP's mission to protect the Filipino people and in upholding the nation’s integrity. Over the past 31 years, AFPRESCOM has continuously evolved, adapted to emerging security challenges, and enhanced its readiness to respond to various contingencies.
LtGen Gaerlan lauded AFPRESCOM leadership, headed by its Commander, BGen Vicente Ronatay, for actively participating in joint exercises, training activities, and civic-military engagements, contributing to the AFP's efforts to enhance interoperability, professionalism, and operational effectiveness.
In celebrating its 31st founding anniversary, the AFP is full of hope for AFPRESCOM on its dedication and commitment to excellence, integrity, and service.
