CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City -- The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), through the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Financial Management, OJ10, officially concluded the AFP Financial Management Course Class 35-2025 with a graduation ceremony held on June 16 here.
The event was attended by Undersecretary for Strategic Assessment and Planning Ignacio B. Madriaga of the Department of National Defense as the Guest of Honor and Speaker, joined by Major General Francis Anthony M Coronel, DCS for Financial Management, J10.
Launched on March 18, 2025, the course reflects the AFP's ongoing commitment to fiscal transparency, accountability, and the institutionalization of financial best practices across the defense sector.
This year’s graduating class comprises of 52 participants—including military and civilian personnel from the AFP, as well as representatives from the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
With Class 35-2025 now fully equipped to navigate the complexities of fiscal governance, the AFP takes another step forward in securing not only the nation's defense but also its financial integrity.
