CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City -- The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) successfully concluded its Information Warfighter Exercise (IWX) today, held here as part of the kick off events of the annual AFP Joint Exercise DAGIT-PA.
This year’s IWX placed a strong emphasis on the Information Operations (IO) environment, where participants from various AFP units and inter-agencies were challenged with realistic IO scenarios and tasked to formulate courses of action to counter adversarial narratives aimed at influencing perceptions and shaping the cognitive domain.
Through this exercise, the AFP reinforces its commitment to strengthening the nation’s defense posture by enhancing its capabilities to operate effectively in the information environment and in the emerging cognitive domain.
The AFP remains steadfast in its mission to defend the nation and uphold territorial integrity through exercises that build strength, unity, and preparedness across all domains.
